Our Story

A wooden table filled with various Vietnamese dishes including spring rolls, pho, and salads. Several people are reaching for food and sauces, with drinks like orange juice and cocktails visible. A bottle of sriracha sauce is on the table.

Our Story

Stephen and Juliette Wall opened Pho after they travelled to Vietnam and fell in love with the food.

In 2005, they made the decision to start a restaurant serving phở while sat on high stools, slurping pho bo, in Ho Chi Minh City.

All these years later, Pho is a group of restaurants dotted around the country, serving great value, healthy Vietnamese food that’s cooked fresh in each kitchen daily.

A person in a red shirt holds chopsticks, lifting noodles from a bowl of pho. The soup contains broth, beef slices, herbs, and chili slices. The bowl is held by the other hand on a wooden table.

Why we exist

Phở is SO much more than a bowl of soup. It’s an obsession – the soul of a nation.

A delicious, healthy dish that is eaten for breakfast, lunch and dinner, constantly tailored to suit the individual.

Our mission is to spread the phở obsession by building a group of individual restaurants that are the best they can be in every way possible.
