Muthu started as a kitchen porter at Pho and now he is one of our amazing head chefs. He quickly progressed from KP to line chef (in just 6 months!) and spent a couple of years in our kitchens training to become a head chef. After a few years running the kitchen in our largest London restaurant, he’s relocated to Pho in Bristol. Muthu also helps to induct and train many of our new kitchen staff across the company.
With about a decade in the hospitality industry under his belt, Max joined Pho as General Manager of our St Paul’s restaurant. He went on to manage both our Soho and Battersea sites before joining the openings team (after just two years at Pho) as GM, and now he travels around the country to help us grow.
Joss is a Pho OG. She started with us 11 years ago as a waitress before moving her way up to ‘head of servers,’ then to supervisor, and now she is an Assistant Manager. She has worked in and managed most of our London restaurants in her time, including St Paul’s, Covent Garden, Chiswick, Balham and Islington.
Jit is the queen of our kitchens. She joined Pho as a head chef in Pho Oxford Circus in 2009 and then quickly made it through the ranks to head up the kitchen opening team in our Spitalfields restaurant. Only a couple of years later, having worked in every single one of our kitchens at some point, she was promoted to senior head chef of the company. Jit is now in charge of our food development and all of the kitchen staff across our 30 restaurants, and she runs the kitchen at each of our new restaurant openings across the UK.
Kiki is a part time server in our Guildford restaurant. She juggles working at Pho with being a student, and recently became one of our Tik Tok Content Creators.
